Our District Deserves Someone Who Is A Part of the Fabric of Our Community

Born and raised in Fairbanks, I love our community and all of its unique neighborhoods. In 2018 and 2020, I was elected to represent Fairbanks and bring new ideas, fresh energy, and the attitude that we can solve our problems by working together. Now, I’m running for reelection to ensure that Alaska’s future and economy is strong and something we can be proud of and count on for years to come.

I went through Fairbanks’ public schools and believe they are great, but can be the best in the world! Working for Alaska’s educators, I understand what our students and families need to reach successful outcomes. I also worked in Juneau for six years as a Legislative Aide and I know what it takes to reach pragmatic solutions on the challenges before us, such as lowering the cost of energy, stimulating economic development and stopping raids on the Permanent Fund.

As Representative for the past four years, during a critical moment in Alaska’s history, I heard from constituents and voters across the state about what their families and businesses need to succeed, and I set out to deliver. My first four years in office saw budget strife, a global pandemic, threats to jobs and educational opportunities, monumentally low and high oil prices, but most importantly, a meteoric rise in engagement from constituents and voters across the state. Alaskans came together to support what is important to them; Alaskan voices were raised in the name of a brighter future for our state. This community of engaged voters taught me of the power and passion of Alaskans, and together, I know we can achieve positive change for our state.

I know the heart of the neighborhoods we call home. It's this experience -- working for you and your families, and living side by side -- that I will take to Juneau and put to work for Fairbanks.
